Pete "Pops" Escovedo & Masada will be performing together once again as they will be opening for "The Gap Band", "The Supertones" and "Carmen" at this years "March for Peace" in Fresno, CA. at the Grizzlie Stadium with an expected crowd of over 15,000. Juan Escovedo, the also well known famous percussionist-congero will also be performing with Masada. Stage time is 2:15 PM.

On July 10, 2004 Masada will be performing in MasadaPlaza de Cesar Chavez, San Jose
Masada adds one more element to its Tower of Power Latin funk. The band members are Christian, so they play the same songs but with lyrics changed to express their positive outlook.
"The San Jose 15-piece band includes a six-piece horn section, Latin percussion and vocals. And, Latin music king Pete Escovedo is expected to guest-star. On Sunday, Masada opens for Victory Outreach's celebration of its 25th anniversary of ministry in San Jose. This San Jose church is one of the largest Victory Outreach churches worldwide. Along with Masada, rapping, color guard and a tribute to ``The Star-Spangled Banner,'' Jimi Hendrix-style, will also be presented."
